The Beginning Founded in April 2023 by Jenenu Getu and Tadiwos Utalo, Bemnet Medium Clinic was established to fill a vital need for high-quality medical services in the Wolaita Zone. Located in the heart of Bele Awasa Town, we began with a simple mission: to provide the Kindo-Koysha and neighboring community with a healthcare facility they can rely on during their most critical moments.
Expert Care You Can Trust What sets Bemnet apart is our highly skilled medical team. Our facility is led by two Specialists in Emergency Surgery, supported by a dedicated Health Officer, experienced BSc Nurses, and a full team of Lab Technologists. Though we are a medium clinic, we provide "specialist-level" attention to every patient, treating an average of 15 emergency and outpatient cases every day.
A Full-Service Health Facility We have designed our infrastructure to be a "one-stop" medical destination. Our facility includes:
Specialized Care: Emergency & Triage, Minor Surgery, and ANC/Maternal health services.
Inpatient Services: A comfortable 5-bed admission ward for patients requiring close monitoring.
Advanced Diagnostics: A fully equipped laboratory capable of everything from CBC and Chemistry to specialized tests like H.pylori and Hepatitis screening.
Our Vision for the Future:
We are not standing still. Our strategic goal is to transform Bemnet Medium Clinic into a full Primary Hospital within the next 5 years. This expansion will increase our capacity to over 35 beds and allow us to provide Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric Care (CEOC) and 24-hour surgical services.
